10 Bolt From 93' Fit 86' Housing?

I have a 86' El Camino and have found a 10 bolt posi rear with 3.43 gears from a 93' to 97' Camero. Can the internal parts be swapped? The mount is different and I'll not sure of the width. Worth the effort?

Thanks. Looking for a 88' and down s10 rear. Supposed to have 26 spline and 3.42 gears.
