Can a posi rear from a 98 olds bravada fit in a g-body?

The whole rear axle won't work since it is too wide. I believe the center section will.

You can make anything fit in your car with the right know how and fabrication and how much $$$$ your willing to spend...That being said, not a direct fit and will not be worth your trouble............. 8)

If your going to junkyard pick an axle then get a 9in. That way the center of the axle is regular mild steel. You can weld two DOM sleeves straight to the housing for the upper mounts and then reuse or refab some lower brackets.

I went this way ; ford 9" out of a versailles 78 ....( no need to cut hsg)

any diff housing beside 442 84+ or GN wont fit
so may as well have something that will last !

it is costly , but worth it !
