Hi Guys,

Wanting to run 15x8 weld draglites with 275/60/15's on my 80 Malibu.

I currently have 275/60/15 Cooper Cobras on stock Monte SS wheels with 3.75 backspacing and clearance is tight on both ends.

Who's running the Weld Draglites and 275's on a Malibu and what backspacing are you using?

I don't understand the question, with a 3.75 BS you say the clearance is close on both sides and you want to run the same tire so why do you think 3.5 or 4.5 will work....

I run a 275 60x15 on 15x8 corvette rally and I think its a 4" back space works fine.

Because I'm going from a 7 inch wide rim to an 8 inch. And because the Welds only come in 3.5 and 4.5 backspace so I'm stuck picking one of those options.

I should have mentioned that I am running a stock width 442 8.5" rear.
