I have a chance to pick up some s10 zq8 16" rims and tires for a good price. I ve seen pics of them in the postings here and they look sharp but I need to know if the will clear without needing spacers. my existing aluminum rims came off an s10 and are aftermarket 15 x 8 but must not have much back spacing (barely past rear brake drum).
Is there any downsides to going up to a 16 vs staying at 15" rims
Thanks

I'd grab the ZQ8's at that price. You may have to clearance, or ream out the center holes to fit over stock hubs. If you're using Blazer brakes (and hubs)....no problem.
As far as needing spacers, someone who already has a set on their car will have to elaborate.
Of course, you'll need a set of lugnuts with the proper shoulder.

you may have to skim just a fine amount from the inside of the center hub.... mine will almost go on, and texas82gp has also confirmed this on his... only need what seems to be a paper's thickness taken off....

I'm still waiting on the seller to get back with me for a time to come check them out. I just didn't want to buy them and they rub and need spacers and longer studs. I'm all factory brakes front and rear so they should clear.
Thanks

Keep looking. With a tiny amount of filing to remove a small lip in the hub diameter, they fit just fine, no rubbing with up to a 255-50-16, all four corners.
