He he....Something tells me that 442 isn't 100% factory. 1972 was not the best year for the W30 and only rated at 300hp. In another video that same car beat a 1969 L88 Corvette. Those mopars are heavy tanks so yes I think you still have a good chance.

Sweet. Your modern fuel injected v8 is faster than 50 year old cars on bias plys. The street hemi wasn't all it was cracked up to be. The GSX was called the hemi killer for a reason.

If I'm not mistaken this was pure stock racing from Mid Michigan Motorplex - rules are pretty tight

The 442 W30 and my favorite the W31, me liking the more durable 350 were given squat for credit but were cool, fast cars for their times and were the best handling of the pack. Nice video, I do like the Mopar air cleaner, always have.

My stock short block 350 w/ iron 2.02 heads will put better than a second on both of them.
