I'm curious how obnoxiously large new stuff has gotten in comparison.

I bet the 73 bumper to bumper fits inside the wheel base of the 2018 :O

Post that on CL north of I70 or better yet I80 anywhere east of the rockies for 8 grand and watch the people who come out of the woodwork that will pay that. 8G for a one in worse than that shape is common around here.

73-87 gm pickups are definitely hot items currently I know it would cost a fortune to replace mine. Seems there worth more the way yours is mechanically and cosmetically correct on the inside with the original patina left alone on the outside. If you do sell it don't be afraid to start with an astronomical number. I've seen fender emblems priced at $400 it's just insane what people are asking for square body's and parts for them

That is because they all rotted into the ground unless you either get a southern truck like this one or one that never saw winter and salt.
