That looks like a very clean car. Was it being raced previousy? What did it do and what are you expecting out of it when back together?

Troy, I bought it rolling. Has a cage and ladder bars. It was raced in Tennessee.
We are building a 527" IA2, Ehead combo to run 10.0 index, next year. Car is going in the chassis shop for new floors and front end work pretty soon.
While racing this combo for the nest 2 years or so, we will be building a 535" Tiger head combo. Then the car will get an updated cage and narrowed. Then we will run the 8.50 class. This combo has provided 960 HP. We will be having the heads and intake opened some more and hopefully get lifter bores opened to .904 or .937 and go with a 55mm cam. This should give us enough power to run 8.50s consistently. But again, down the road.

Sounds like you picked up a nice car and have quite a plan for it. Will be very cool. I envy you guys with a plan. I’m about 8 years into a project ‘80 and see no end in sight... Did you used to run a 70-72 Lemans? I seem to recall posts on PY and seeing another car out at Byron or Cordova a few years ago.

Car looks great. I notice the two blocks...……...iron...….and wooden! LOL. BTW...…..if you ever decide to remove the factory body side mouldings...…….please keep me in mind. Mine got twisted back in May by a big red GMC that clobbered me...............put me out of commission for all summer.

Troy, yes you seem to be deeper in the resto than me. But in the end, will turn out better, I'm sure. I use to race a 2001 T/S Grand Am, yes, Pontiac powered. Before that I ran a 73 Bird in the 9s. Im in NJ

Don, those side moldings are like gold. I have found a few. Mine are in decent shape. I will polish them and repaint the black line, when it is ready for paint.
