Ah, nice. Haven't been here too long, originally from Monaca. The car is in McKees Rocks, so I figured before I go out there I'd ask the pros first.

You have to ask yourself do I want it?
    Can I afford it?
When I had my shops I worked on a lot of cars that were being restored by people themselves who had some resources. Everyone stated when all was said and done that they would buy a car that was close to what they wanted and move forward from there. Spending a lot less money and most importantly ...Time.
We all have different tastes and I went with a little rake on my El C as I like it. Its my car. I put a 4 speed Muncie in it. Makes me feel like a kid when I drive it.
Money is important and we all need it.
But that is what disposable income is all about.
    Man, follow your heart

Could you build it for 8500????

    Car
    Bodywork
    Paint
    Engine
    Trans
    Rear
    Rims
    Tires
    etc..

I'm going to say no. Not in PA

Something is fishy with the seller saying the 12 bolt couldn't hold up to the power of the 383 (bullllllllllllcrapppppppppp)

So for you if you like it as is, it may be a good deal.

Like everything .....It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
