I am beginning a build on my 79 Buick Century sport coupe. She has a Pontiac 301 and 3 speed transmission. I am going to install a 1967 gs400 .030 over with a th350 and a 3.08 posi rear. Will upgrade interior as this was a quick poor dye job. I will add a turbo sport hood and maybe some 15x7 buick factory sport wheels.

Nice car, don't see a lot of those. Should be a blast to drive with a BBB too.

The spoiler does help the Butless Buick, looks in really nice shape. GM did weird stuff, I didn't realize the Pontiac 301 was used much outside Pontiac.

It could become a aero GN/GNX... But since it'll get that GS 400 it could be a 1 of none GS. I'd try for an O.D. trans so you could put some good gears in the back & let the 400 show off.

That's what I was thinking as have a 462 stage 2 sleeper in the four door version.

Maybe a 2004r with 342 or 373 rear

Very nice I’ve always liked those I would love to have one of the turbo coupes

I have two of the turbo coupes that need restoration also. Both 79s. One has motor that is siezed and the other has running turbo motor but the car was damaged in transport and am almost finalized with the restitution..
