hey guys long story short i got this car for my 16th b day and a drunk lady almost totaled my car. i have been spending the past 9 years finding and fixing my hurst i am tired of looking at a primer hurst its about time to paint it. i am a student in college in the Houston area and im on a tight budget but as we all know we rather put out time and money in our babies. i would like to get going on car shows and cruises. does anyone know of anyone in the houston area that will help me out on the paint job bc i will do the time to do the prep work . please help me out big thanks folks

Well, if you're on a budget, there is always maaco. Maaco can come out alright if you do the prep. Technical schools that have bodywork classes are an idea too. They normally paint for the cost of the materials plus 30 percent material cost for labor. They almost always come out good if you do the prep, although they normally take a week or two, sometimes three. You won't find a decent paint job anywhere as cheap as you will at a tech school.
