Looked at this yesterday - tempting but I have too many other vehicles around here.

Seemed like a motivated seller

Yes, I live in a semi-arid area of Texas (zero rain in last 2 months) and the Cutlass looked pretty solid underneath.

I would be on top of it, but my problem is three-fold: I already have 65 and 72 Cutlass projects, plus keeping my 85 El Camino running as go-fer car. Promised the wife no new junkers in the yard.

The 80 Cutlass looks un-restored and original outside of the engine swap, The guy even has the old 305 if you want it, too. Issues are old original suspension bushings, that sort of thing, not surprising. Also the vinyl top had some crumbling going on you can see in photos.

Talk about a sleeper, it looks totally Granny-mobile from the outside, that's why I stopped to check it out.

I'm not sure about the 305, I just said that because that's what's in my Conquista. I guess the 1980 Olds V8 could have been something different.
