Anyone here knows much about that color? I had Brian Weaver Owner of GBodyParts.com Help me with my 1979 Pontiac LeMans Body Tag & that's what it came back with.
Forgetting to mention the Original car color was 22L/22U (Brahma Blue Met) Better known as Glacier Blue, I ponder hard about this... Why would anyone order a Light blue car with DK Blue Interior?

From What I can find out online DK Blue Wasn't even offered!!! Till 1980. Although I know the production date of my car (3rd Wk Of December) 1979. So Maybe it was a VERY Early Production Run Colour (Possibly Special order?) It Also mentioned Graphite (Cloth) in the tag as well, carpet/headliner maybe?

Need help on this. Thx

Dec 79 build would be a 1980 model year vehicle. Should be able to verify model year by VIN as well

Good point I did not think of it like that.

Bump. Anyone?

Chevrolet and Pontiac shared a lot of colors over the years. In 78 and 79 you could get a light blue color (listed as medium blue) interior. That color was discontinued and replaced with dark blue in 1980. I have seen that color with different shades of blue exterior.

22 GM paint code for 1980 is medium metallic blue. WA7129
So if it was originally light blue, it's definitely not a 1980. Thus, your car was built in December of 1978.

22 GM paint code for 1979 is light blue WA4964

GM made tons of cars with light blue exteriors with dark blue interiors in the late 70s and 80s.

Here's a picture of a code 22 1979 Turbo Century coupe with a dark blue interior. Perhaps Pontiac just used the medium blue interiors?

I had a two-tone blue ‘80 Lemans with a dark blue interior. I don’t remember the code of the upper color, but likely what you’re looking for.B55EA58A-62F7-4536-A768-149B2C438619.jpegCB931511-5A7B-49E9-ADAC-B6F78CC52208.jpeg4CE136A2-88BC-4FB2-BC77-3BAA85FBC35F.jpeg1A80C537-B288-4E02-8F96-D2D9B81A89DE.jpegE9DFEFC6-6D16-4EBF-8F0F-E014343C7A8D.jpegC4A62452-B33C-4953-8386-B0DD657310D7.jpeg1DBF629D-D9E6-457F-8A44-7432CB751D62.jpeg

Yep, I'm aware of that. I initially thought it was Light blue due to the Color of the Bench seats that are fading back in again. Body Tag shows DK blue w/ Graphite though I'm still really confused about that part. I've never seen Graphite anywhere that's why I thought maybe it was a Single color only for Headliner or carpet etc.
