1981 Chevy Malibu station wagon project. This car belong to the owner of a junkyard in Graham called Dick you pull it and it was her family car.

She’s a firm 85% done. I had a dream of restoring this car and since having a toddler and having a hard time finding time to dedicate to it. I completed the engine swap with a machine shop reworked (bored .040 over, cam bearings l, brass plugs) hot tanked and new bearings/ pistons overhaul Chevy 350 with high performance world product iron cyl heads. ARP hardware, edelbrock carb . Champion aluminum radiator I added headers and a new exhaust system. Th350 transmission with a shift kit. New torque converter New gas tank, redid the entire front suspension with the urethane bushings, driveshaft overhaul with new u joints. , new power steering pump, Chevy Astro van steering shaft Moog Tie rod and ball joints, polyurethane sway bar, bushings and energy, suspension polyurethane, bushings installed in the front control arms brand new BF Goodrich, tires new wheel bearings. Has brand new shocks and springs all the way around KYB for the shocks Too much more to list

I The interior is in very good condition. I took it all out and steam cleaned it and then I put down a POR15 and generic dynamat. All the panels are intact and present the headliner fabric came down, but the backing board is still in place, so just need some new fabric glued to it

Exterior paint has an excellent patina on it but since I’ve had it, she’s been garage kept and is rust free. I have all the parts to finish her. Still inside the car new weatherstripping, window felts, new rear brakes, even a true track posi.

Come take a look and bring a trailer. She’s a roller but not runner.

Looks like a nice solid project. What's the asking price? Hope it finds a good home.
