Just picked it up, truly a piece...
Didn't know what I was going to do with it, but the price was right. So I bartered for it, and eventually picked it up.
I got it home and started messing with it, although I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with it. Got it running fairly easy.
The body is pretty decent, except for the floorboards. The window was left down for many many years.
I guess the more I play with it the more I like it, so now I think I'm going to do an engine swap, break upgrade, suspension upgrade, with S10 Blazer parts. I have a 95' LT1 6-speed/vortec supercharger out of a Camaro that I picked up for a song, itching to transplant it... I think the wagon may be the victim...
I also have a 5.3 out of a pickup, with a 4L60E, thought about putting it in, but I think the LT1 is a better choice.
I'll keep you guys updated with my slow progress.

P.S. picked up some TA wheels today, thought they looked pretty good.

I think I would put the steel wheels back on it and give it a coat of clear to seal the paint and drive her as is.

With an engine / trans swap that is

Any progress with it? I'm getting an almost clone to yours very shortly, it appears yours originally had woodgrain on the side just faded/peeled off(?).

I'll be that guy

While I don't mind patina so much, rust needs to go away. At least CLR it, then reassess whether to clear it.

Rust looks shitty no matter what it's on, sorry.
