1981.pontiac lemans engine swap

I wanted to put a Buick 455 in my Pontiac lemans two door. I know I would have to upgrade the springs what else u all can think of would need to be upgraded that would help. I believe i was told it would maybe a few modifications . What y'all think.

I'll take anything I can get lol. I imagine wiring etc. But all if not everything u all feel like helping with would be greatly appreciated

1981 Pontiac LeMans there's a 3.8 in it currently the original.

I would give it a day of abuse. I took out first gear in a TH250C that was high mile but shifting fine the first drive behind a 8 to 1 Olds 403. The spider gears in the stock 7.5" especially if they have seen icy roads could be one hard burn out from exploding. Mine were and took out the pinion.

Yeah swapping engine and transmission out. I agree with the rear. Not sure where I'm going that way but will swap out if any issues

Stock haven't decided which way I'm going but I like the idea of being able to upgrade and get gains of 450 plus. So 350 plus
