Was thinking of making a new shifter linkage, but then figured I’d just modify the stock one. Drilled part of a coupling nut out, slid it over the end and welded it on. (Was originally going to thread the stock rod) Now I just need the new linkage to show up so I can use parts from it!

VSS… didn’t think I needed it with the Holley kit… I’ll cross that bridge when I get to wiring😂
I missed this on the 1st read through. So you're running a FiTech intake and a Holley Term Max or Dominator?

Great build, very well done.

I forgot to say, yes it’s the FiTech top end kit with the Holley Terminator X Max kit.

After I get the transmission linkage done, all I have left is the wiring, exhaust, and tuning.

Once that is done, I can start my 14” & 12” brake swap

So the plan with the speedometer drive tailhshaft housing is to use the factory Speedometer, eh?

Something that is neat with the newest software is the traction control. A Blazer wheel bearing or some type of ABS setup on one of the front wheel's will give you traction control.

Got a little done to the linkage. The metric nut to hold on the selector arm was missing, so I need to wait for that.

Hooked up my column shift to the 4L80e using parts from a generic linkage kit and some parts from the hardware store. I can get P/R/N/D with ease. Getting into 3/2/1 is difficult since the lever goes beyond the 6 o’clock position. If I did a little more modifications, I think I could get all of them.

This is in D.

Anyone happen to have a metric one of these bolts? I got 2 standard ones in my kit
