I know them well. I worked at McBetts racing engines when they were in Copiague. I used to get my race gas at Merkel's. A few of my friends used Merkel for their race engines.

Never had a shroud in this car, so I bought a derect fit shroud for my radiator and mounted my fan. Turns out the fan I have is from a C4 corvette. Had my lil dude help me

Also degreased the engine bay. Years of oil leaks kept the cross member 1982 fresh.

I like the low profile of that shroud setup, will do a lot to clean up the engine bay on any vehicle.

The set up was low profile before but the pan was very open. This should cool better

Got the pan, crank trigger on. Intake came in but will need some porting. Have to mess with water pump spacing and blower spacing because of the crank trigger. Hopefully off to the dyno when I get that fixed.
