1982 Regal transmission?

what model was this trans? and how much torque can it handle? Also, can it be shifted manually?

If its still stock its either a manual 3 speed, thm200, or thm2004r. None of them can handle much more than the factory engine they came with makes unless modified. Any of them can be shifted manually.
