Took the 83 in to get a 403 installed and had the completely stock 307 with 75000 miles dyno'ed before they pulled it. Thought I would share the numbers.

HP 150 (rounded up of course)
TQ 194

Here is the sheet, read it and weep 82 GT mustangs! I used to own those 82 Stangs back in 83 when I had my factory fresh H\O.

Hope to get close to that. Have 10 bolt 8.5 from 1986 442 with posi going in and the 2004R has a monster in a box kit and 2400 stall monster lockup convertor.

Very cool to hear that these cars stomped the Mustang back in the day. People forget how gutlass the Mustang was pre EFI. I remember my BIL smoked a 83 Mustang with his 81 Lebaron 4 door with a stock 318 2bbl. The guy in the Mustang sold it and bought a 90 GT, much faster. Olds was competitive till 85, then EFI came in. The swirl port made it a joke, 55 hp behind the Mustang, instead of ahead by 15 hp in 83.
