If I own it, I want to drive it. I would probably pass on that car because it needs preserved. I want headers, duals and a five speed. Love the color though.
I sold My 1986 GN because it only had 25,000 miles on on it and it tore me up every time I put miles on it I could almost hear it depreciating. I ended up making about $10K profit when I sold it so not driving it was the right decision.
Less than 15K miles, first of its kind, this one should probably be kept stone stock and not be driven. The only mods would be a "3" front licence plate and a small, period correct NASCAR sticker for the corner of the back window. And some reproduction 215/65 Eagle GT's.

That's really the beauty of my car to me. It's a nice body that was a diesel new and was already 'cut up' when I bought it, so I can build it how I want with no guilt.
No sense in owning it if your not going to enjoy it. That's really not a bad price for any car w/15000 mi. I have an 84 Mustang GT Turbo 5 spd convertible - considered rare since they only made 731 of them, unsure how many were 5 spds, but mine is one of one on color. I enjoy the car and have over 100,000 mi's on it.
I was just telling my 17 year old son about the 83-84 "Turbo GT" mustangs then we ran into a guy that just bought a 1986 SVO with 55K miles, which is the right amount of miles to buy a car and drive it and not feel too guilty.
We've had a bunch of low miles cars I couldn't drive: a 19K mile '79 302 Cobra Mustang, a 27K mile 440-6 Cuda, 6,800 mile '71 Baldwin motion Camaro, a 105 mile '69 SS AMX, and I would rather have one I could drive.
