I believe the eighth place of the VIN would be a 9, similar to Hurst/Olds. But I believe this only means it has a turbo in it. Whether it is a real GN or a T-type.....someone else would need to chime in.

You would need to see the SPID in the trunklid. If the VIN on that matches the title, and you see RPO "WE2" and WA848 for body color (black) then it's 99.9% chance of being a GN... But I don't think you can tell specifically only from the VIN.

Edit to add: If it has a cowl tag under the hood, the body colors would be 19U and 19L. And all GN's were floor shifts. So if it's on the column...then it isn't.

That exhausts mainly all my GN knowledge. HTH.
