So far no one is right... go to Hurstolds.com and read the numbers articles, escpecially article #2.
Exact figures of a specific RPO option are available through the GM Heritage Center however
Hurst Olds' were included in the Calais production figures and not to mention they were highly optioned cars.
In fact there are most likely MORE t-top cars than hard top cars and not to mention the post production added moon roofs and t-top by Cars and Concepts. These exact figures for 1983 and 84
Hurst Olds I believe are available through H/OCA, IIRC the figure was much less than 23 on the moon roof cars produced by GM and about 40 or so produced by Cars and Concepts after the fact, I could also be thinking of the '83 Hurst but I believe this topic was covered years ago and I can't remember the exact number but 23 doesn't stick out.
Don't ever believe what you see on the internet, especially in for sale ads, not to mention from car dealers...

How does this person know this is car #12 out of #23?
I call bullshit...
I think there is an issue of Thunder and Lightning published awhile back that addressed these figures by a senior member whom has the list of
H/O's sent to C&C, a friend told me that she was trying to compile the list to get an exact figure, more specifically on the myth about Sand Gray interiors.
Also, don't believe anyone that pulls out a figure of around 200 or so on Sand Gray interiors in 1983
H/O's, that number has NEVER been compiled and with all the ones I've seen over the years I can assure you that it's definately more than that, probably closer to 600 or 800.
Always question your sources, the internet is full of garbage and scammers.
