A polaroid seemed appropriate.

Turns out, even if you get all the specific bolt spacing/diameter specs right for the engine fan clutch, there's one parameter left, never clarified when you buy the clutch: the length of the water pump shaft w/r to the clutch shaft "hole". Well, that is fun. Luckily, my car came with a spare water pump (thanks dad!), and the water pump currently on my Cutlass is worn out (squeaks when turned by hand), so I trimmed the shaft on the new pump & will install it on the car 🙈🙉🙊

...and then the new fan clutch will fit.

I had a B&M lock-up control module for my new 200-4R, but was missing some of the wiring. So i created this sh*t so I can test it using the cigarette lighter.

It turns out, my TH-200-4R speedo gears are such a mismatch with the car's rear end, it will not even reach minimum speed to trigger the lock-up module :)

so, let's stash this until the 3.42 differential is installed.

Sooo... Removing the carpet revealed the rust... :) A few holes, nothing major, not pretty, but I have seen worst.

Would have loved to work on the floor, but right now, weather is very rainy around here.

So....

Worked on the seats instead. Converting the manual 45-55 seats into power seats, using Eldorado power seat rails. Was already partially done for the driver seat, now aligning everything.

I had to cut the side of the seats, but it turned out alright, using a metal plate hidden behind the seat hide. Looks almost OEM in my book, so OK

Done: thick coat of rust encapsulator.
Next up: fiberglass for the holes
