So there we go. carpet installed, rear seat clamped in place with an extra dose of Irish Spring ;)

Tomorrow, front seats installed.
It's looking good!
I'm guessing that the Irish Spring is a rodent repellent? (doubling as an air freshener).

The car is out of the storage. all good, no rodents, thank you Irish Spring soap!

Next step: body mount bushings!! The car has seen a few winters in its early years, and a lot of preventive oil treatments since ~2000. Will see if any bolts are not cooperating soon enough. Bolt kit ordered from Mike's Monte, because after reading some very informative threads on the board here, seems like replacing the bolts is a good idea :)

and only two broken body mount bolts, those are the ones behind the rear wheel on both sides, e.g. #6 per nomenclature. not that bad for a Canada car...!

Passenger side news, body bushing removal. Well, #2 almost snapped!

I am starting to understant the "funny" noises coming from the rear, passenger side whenever the car went over a bump: #4 had litterally no lower rubber left. Pretty sure I will find the same situation with the upper rubber part! 😅

Next step: lifting the passenger side of the body.

Lifted & body mounts removed / replaced. Tomorrow, bolting these, and then preparing the car for the driver side :)

The car had a #5 body mount installed! Quite a surprise :)
