MCACN is coming this weekend, highlight is the Malaise Era '73-'83+ so they wanted Oldsmobiles and wanted to display my '85 again. I made a few updates with NOS carpet and steering wherl with the factory removal covering. I replaced the tank with a Spectra Premium and had to tweak the filler neck 1" and flanges but its a nice correct tank. Resored all the lines, NOS straps, sender, etc... air shocks. Carpet, steering wheel and a few other items Ill post soon...

Looks nice! You didn't take a pic of the tank after install... that would be neat to see.

I added the OG decal you made to the filler neck. I restored all the air shock lines but didn't take a picture of the belly of the tank. I'll have it back on the lift tomorrow.
Undercarriage needs lots of detailing...

Looks great. I would say the 73 to 82 Malaise era is about right. Companies were starting to try again in 82 and 83 especially. Nearly everyone gained power every year from about 82 up. It is cool to be part of a display, no doubt. G bodies, especially like your 442 have gained considerable value in the last couple of years which is good.
