Hello again. Here is my 1985 Regal Limited. A little beat up, but NO rust. At all. It's an Iowa car too! Anyway, I have a problem. I suspect my car was damaged enough in the past to warrant a repaint, as there is over spray in the sticker in the driver's door. Is there any where else on the car I can get the paint code from, or do any of you know the paint code? I love this color and would love to see it repainted the same color. Thanks.

I don't know about the code itself, and it's a terrible pic, but it seems kinda close to the "Dark Cherry metallic" of the Roadmaster: click to enlarge

The paint code on your car (and all G-bodies) is on the cowl tag. Raise the hood and look at the area over the master cylinder, near the driver side wiper arm. There you will find the paint color code as well as a code for a top color if it was different than the lower portion.

Option 1: (what MeanBuicks said)
Option 2: Try to find the build sheet; other threads list the places you could find it, mine was in the headliner
Option 3: Go to an auto paint store and ask to see their color chip books for 1985 GM, or likewise look at GM brochures
Option 4: Internet search, such as paintref.com or paintscratch.com

Option 5: The paint code also appears on the SPID label on the underside of the trunk lid. It's usually toward the bottom of the label.
