Wow, just wow. To add to my hijack of this thread earlier this week, I found some 11/32" hose box I bought back in Sept of 2000 out in the shop. It was for the power brake booster line. GM p/n 9438124. If I had bothered to look at a parts book, I'd see that it lists it as 25 feet of hose. Good thing is, you can STILL get this 25' roll for only $96.26 list price. When you only need about a foot of it. Interestingly, it's made by Gates. Wonder how I figured that out...so I opened the box to see. It lives in humidity controlled environment, and the date is Sept 1995. But it is just a soft and pliable as the day it was made. VERY nice shape for 23 years old. Damn. The white powdery crap wipes off, it must be some sort of release agent for the mold? I dunno.

Been a couple of months since last time I actually worked on the monte. Been cold out. I wanted to get the body back on the frame before the year ended.. this past Saturday was nice out (40ish)

What helped with aligning the the holes were longer bolts. Once body was set down on the frame I put in the new OE bolts.

Ended up finishing in one day so the nova didn’t have to sit outside over night in the cold.. lol

Thanks, I’m about 15 minutes away.. no updates, been too cold out in the garage...

Ordered new bell crank pivot part cuz it was broken also the blend door plastic part that holds the rod was broken.. for that I ordered a door lock clip that I think will work.. it’s out of a gbody
