1985 monte carlo ss lq9 swap "Iron Heart"

1985 monte carlo ss Im in the part collecting stage right now. Car is stock except rolled fenders 2" cowl and an alarm. Hopefully i can finish everything by may.
I still need a crossmember, motor mounts, throttle body, cooling fans and transmission. then i can begin putting everything in.

When i first picked it up

How it is now. Paint is Vapor silver. and stripe kit from phoenix graphics. forgiato wheels. which are 24x8.5 front 4.5 backspacing and 10 rear 5.5 backspacing (trying to decide on ordering new barrel with different offset or getting a frame notch)

I decided i didnt like the burgundy and birch too much, so im going with the red, burgundy and orange stripe kit made for the 85 model year. also got a 2 inch cowl hood for it.

Psi has good customer service and wont mind walking you thru anything you get stuck on. I called a few times with questions and they helped without long hold times or attitude because im no expert.

decided to swap the shorty headers out for long tubes

Picked up some cragar wheels for the track and gauge pillar pods from gbody parts.
