I have a spreadsheet for my insurance company showing what I’ve invested. It’s over 30K but I doubt I could get that much for
You need to go shopping yourself , look at all the cars like yours in similar condition and go from there
If I had to guess without seeing your car I’d say 10 k plus but I could be out by 6k either way lol
Thank you for your input. I was just curious in asking that question.... largely because, as you pointed out, look at the comps. Yet within 200 miles of southern NH where I live you can't find anything as far as a Cutlass for sale unless it's a pile of rust with an emblem. I was extremely fortunate to find this one. Thank you and everyone else here on this forum for all the input, opinion, and help!!

55 ish on the clock, but no idea of reality. Orig 8.5 rear was replaced with a 7.5 peg leg 2.14 God knows when. 🤮. Did do valve cover gaskets though (what an unbelievable f'ing nightmare that was) and you could eat of this things valve train......not one spec of anything other than clean oil!! Engine runs pisser other than my idle issue I can't pinpoint.

Engine runs pisser other than the idle I can't figure out. Paint is checking and needs to be redone. She largely runs and drives very well and looks the part from 10 feet!

The 8.5" missing really hurts the value. Is it an actual Vin 9 car, hope so.

To give you an idea of value I've poked around some 442s in the past year, land of high overinflated prices.

Car 1: a white/blue top 85, documented mileage <100k spent a long time in storage before the past couple on road. Under 10k asking for weeks now. No noticeable body/interior wear, no mods.

Car 2: blue/blue top 86, documented mileage <100k 1 owner. Looked almost new, garage kept. Sold for 9500 a couple weeks back.

Car 3: blue/blue 86 astroroof. Documented mileage just over 100k. Listed below 9k for months. Repainted driver quality with small defects, but presentable with clean interior.

Car 4: blue/blue 87 ttop. North of 100k, runs/drives, good interior, rusty doors and quarter blisters. All original, but shows age.. 3k

So balance that in with the cars that have been for sale for years without a bite at considerably higher prices.

oh a value question - I put a post in classified and got the gammet LOL
basically - keep all receipts, picture etc and get either GEICO or a professional Body shop to valuate the car.
My 1986 was in a small rear end collision from a cell phone texter in traffic - my insurance was all too ready to hand me a $1500.00 check for mine - GEICO looked it over and valuated it at $15k with the engine body and chassis upgrades and class of work done to it.
You really need a 3rd party without objection to look it over.
All seriousness it is the person who sees it and has a value for them.
ex: my Dad had an all original 45k mile Cutlass Supreme with original tires shocks paint and build stickers in window he got at an estate auction for $1700.00 and sold it to a collector for $4500.00 this was in 1995 mind you so times have changed and $4500 is more like $12,000 due to inflation.
the originality, the paint and condition all matter - anything with after market or "Restormod" is subjective. - you see my avatar and it is insured at a $15k replacement value and its a daily driver.
