1987 buick regal 5.0 307 headlights problem.

Hi all,

I'm new, any help is very appreciated. I have a problem, my headlights low's only work when I activate the high's. So I checked all the fuses under the dash, got a new headlight/parking light switch, and no go. Mind you I just bought it, and it's all stock. Oh, yes forgot to mention it has twilight sentinel, if that is of any importance. I've never had a regal with that. So if you guys could help me out please, would love to drive it at night but cannot because of this issue.

So your low beam headlights only work when you turn your high beams on? Sounds like you need to change your low beam bulbs. They are dual filament. So the low beam portion could be blown, but the high beam portion is still working.
