My 88ss got totalled recently. I still have 4 g bodies but I feel less in the gbody club no longer semi dd one and only owning one currently driveable gbody. :(

Regardless Ive been having fun with this 91 camaro I bought. I bought it with slightly under 70k and have put a few hundred on it already.

I saw it while browsing some drastically different options including mostly g bodies and my mind started running wild thinking about a nice irocz clone thats really solid but i didnt feel bad daily driving. I have also been itching for a vert or t top.

305 carb. Most turn key carb engine ive owned.

Clean enough to eat off undercarriage. Clean t tops (I need to get a new driver side as its broke and leaking on seat a little)

Super tight steering and generally very solid. Admittedly Im enjoying a little vacation from driving boats.

It was one owner until March when the original owner died. I think its mostly garaged although Im slightly confused why it has one of the worst dashes Ive seen. Cracked to hell. The driver seat is also torn which owner attributed to her father being a big guy but otherwise everything including carfax points at a 70k car.

The RS look has grown on me some and Im now thinking about not adding Iroc decals or wheels. I do want to black out around the headlights still. I might try to track down some cheap suspension upgrades for now. I bought this car to drive and double that 70k and I know I wont if I make it too nice.

Ill post pics later. I have one thats too big to upload.

Heres a sample. More to come.

Any suggestions for keeping the t tops rust free? Ive only had one t top car before, a t type i couldnt ever get to run right and sold. I need to replace the driver side one its cracked and leaks a little.

Im thinking I need an Iroc hood. I love the louvers.

Nice, those cars are usually beat to crap. I have one, its my GF's actually, its also a '91 low mileage..40K and rust free, she bought it new.. I built a sweet 406 and a Th350 trans for it a few years ago, I hated those cars when they came out ( i was a chevy dealer tech.... still am) but they have grown on me over the years. You dont see them on the road to much anymore like you use to. Good luck with yours!!
