Lots of torque, really sticky tires and a well-prepped surface.

Oh you mean the two-door conversion.......

They likely used coupe doors and moved the rear door jamb rearward to make room for the longer doors. Then probably used the rear halves of the wagon rear doors to fill in the space.

As for the 2-dr conversion, I think it was nicely done. He might've used El Camino doors and glass which would enable him to angle the B-pillars. However, El Camino glass is angled at the A-pillar, so if he did in fact use this glass, he would've had to angle the A-pillars/windshield posts.
I do agree with you Mark, that he used the back doors as filler and moved the B-pillars rearward.

I always wanted to do this years back, but had trouble finding a good donor car at the time.
I do wonder what he used for 1/4 windows. Either had custom glass made, or he used Lexan.

That's why I posted this. El Co windows don't have frames, right? This one appears to...

Looks like he built frames so the windows don't pop out when it twists

You're right, I know El Camino door glass is frameless. I'm guessing he had to make his own B-pillar/ window frames. I'm assuming he's using the frames from the 4-dr doors and modifying them accordingly. I'm sure a good amount of work went into them.
