It's amazing how many people stop me and tell they used to have a G body.
.....and...
I love the smiles per gallon I'm getting(nice exhaust tone from 180hp)
..... and...
Ricers don't want to race me anymore(used to have a 22 year old red VW GTI)
...and now the sad part...
with winter around the corner the Monte is going to be garaged until May 2017:(
...and now the good part....
I get to take it apart and make improvements, the car is pretty good but I can make it better:banana:
(as a youngster I loved model cars - as an oldster I get to play with real cars)
Let me know if you want pics of my progress on tidying up a boring stock G body?

Yeah, post pics of your progress. You've got a really nice SS. Do you have any specific plans for it yet?

Show some pics. Ill give you a heads up. If you plan to drive the car next year don't bite off more than you can chew. Winter months are long but It goes way faster when you want to get stuff done before summer.

Tell you what..the biggest job is to explain to my wife, why I'm working on a car that I bought, just because it needed nothing.

In my experience, most women just can't understand it. My fiance is one rare exception.
