I'm about to transition from a TH-350 to the 2004R. I've got just about everything else sorted except one thing... the TV cable location. Attached is a photo of my current linkage with the kickdown cable. Does the TV cable have the same mounting point on the linkage? Is the geometry the same? Do I need a separate attachment or linkage for the new cable?

that Holley bracket is the one to get.i can't see enough of your cable to determine if it's the correct adjustable one or not but having the rite one is super important.

Here is a better photo, my bracket is 100% universal which probably isn't a good thing. I think I'll get the Holley one. The good think is I now know that it goes to the same location on the linkage.

I use this style linkage bracket on all of my Holley carbs, the cheap metal universal ones tend to flex and shift.

OP I think you’ll need the Holley bracket and correct TV cable. These trannys are finicky and need the TV set exactly. Don’t take any chances with the cable or you’ll burn up the trans.

I like your bracket, is that a Holley bracket? What part# ?
I think I bought the bracket from Jegs (brand) and another brand for the kickdown piece
