MY BUDDY GOT A 5.3 LONG BLOCK HES WILLING TO GIVE ME ON A PAYMENT PLAN WITH transmission. FIRST QUESTION IS A 5.3 A 327 CI? AND IS IT WORTH PUTING TIME INTO THIS OR JUST GET A 350? CUZ I REBUILT A 305 AND WASNT HAPPY WITH IT NOT STRONG ENOUGH... ANY WISDON WOULD HELP... THANX FAM..

Sounds like a newer LS motor - what is it out of? If it is, it will spank a 305!

Sounds like the 325 Vortec motor.

GET IT!!!! You've got a couple options: Run the factory EFI and transmission and use all the factory wiring -or- slap a 4 barrel on there and get the MSD box. with option 2 you'll need to find a non-computer transmission (any old school Chevy V8 transmission).
