anybody have a pictures of a floor shift THM200-4R all bolted up trying to ensure I have my shift lever and cable bracket in right positions.

(Problem) Cable doesn't seem to line up correctly It does measure about 26 1/4 inches eye to eye

Also if anyone has part numbers for the correct shift cable that will be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

22519497 replaced by 25537476. Both discontinued from GM. I'm betting you have a 3 speed cable. Just guessing.

Do you have a GM cable or aftermarket? Know the part number off hand? That can help us determine what you have.

Do you have it on correctly? Not knowing what YOU have, the end with the rubber boot goes on the transmission. There's a retaining clip that goes on each end to hold it in place. Best I can recall it pretty much is going to only go one way.

well I got the car it had a cable connected to the shifter but there was no trans in there.
so I'm not sure what they were running.

I don't have any part numbers that I can make out the cable it looks to be a GM part

lol yes it does only go one way

Did the car come with the 200-4R originally? If it's an 84, it should have a SPID in the trunk. MX0 would show up for the 200-4R. Shifters look similar, but there are slight differences. Also, if they get stretched and/or kinked, that causes fitment issues as well. IIRC, there's also an adjustable pin on the shift link on the trans. It could be out of whack. I'm assuming you have the correct transmission bracket for the 200-4R?

Pioneer makes a CA1130 cable supposed to fit 200-4R with console. Don't know for sure though.

Here's what your trans brackets should look like.

Here's pics of an NOS 25537476 cable. The pic that shows it on top of the tape measure is deceiving because it looks like it's hanging over the edge, but it's just the angle of the camera. It's a hair over 26" long.

Another one of my cables in the bag (in the newer style GM wrapper bag) has "RH 229 09" stamped in white on the side of the cable sheath and "made in USA" white sticker wrapped around where the RH sticker is on this one.

Update: so after further investigation I found that the pioneer ca1130 will work

As I was able to shift the gears but due to its poor design it pulled apart at the base at the shifter end... so on my way for another...
Also with all this I found this car had no OD as the shift plate reads PRND21

So I guess now im looking for cutlAss shifter with OD.
