The transmission length is the same. so no changing driveshafts. The 200-4R mount is setback a few inches. I suppose if you're able to move the X-member forward you might be able to get by. Otherwise you may have to find a TH350 X-member. You'll also have to tap into the intake or back of the carb for a vacuum source for the trans modulator. The kickdown cable shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
If I forgot anything, I'm sure someone will chime in.

Jack is on the money!
If I remember right the transmission crossmember is the same between the turbo 350 and the 200-4r. (Had to replace the one in my El Camino) The frame should have the mounting holes already in place closer to the front.

Thanks Bob,
You're right. The mounting holes to accommodate a TH350 or TH200 X-member should be there. Otherwise, I can't think of anything else that needs to be addressed.

I don't think the x-members are the same,
The trans mount slot is at a different angle since the right side mount position stays the same and the left mount position moves forward for the 350. The overall length should be different also because of the different mounting angles, 2004R mounts straight across where as the th350 mounts at an angle, not saying it will not work, but there are differences in both members.

I know that the X-members are different. The TH350 unit mounts on a diagonal and the 200-4R unit is straight across. My friend had a TH350 in his Cutlass wagon and put a 200-4R in. He ended up reusing his TH350 X-member using two extension pieces. I know it's the opposite of what Richie is looking to achieve.

yes I see the further foward mounting holes on the driver side. so the parts list looks like it'll be th350 crossmember torque converter vacuum hose kickdown cable and different size transmission lines?

Trans lines are same size but the in and out are swapped.
Would be easier to swap in th350 lines if you want solid end to end.
When i did my swap I cut lines about 2 ft down from the trans thencut out about another 1ft and splice in 2 ft hose double clamp each end, and used existing hard line to radiator
You can just extend the 2oo4r mount 6 inches with a plate

Crossmembers are different. Line in and out need swapped as said.
