We took the train down from Santa Fe to skip the traffic. As we arrived at the station to go home, we found a portable car show! In fact, the Fiesta was winding down for the morning, and the local hot rod association was taking the field. They were staged in a couple parking lots and along a road near the Fiesta grounds. Made waiting for the train a pleasure!

These are just some of the highlights. Lots of GM early and late iron. The Demon was cool under the balloon. My favorite was the red Elco.

The guy in the 'patina'd' Corvair seemed genuinely surprised and pleased when my kids asked to see the engine. He said the car's name is 'Ellie'. Why? 'Because the trunk is in the front'. My daughter couldn't stop laughing.
