How to turn a four hour drive into a seven hour quest, by Me. Take two lane roads, stop for gas, stop for dinner, stop for rum, miss a turn, at night, in rural central Indiana, drive twenty minutes at forty five degrees northeast from the intended due north route to the next town, turn ninety degrees northwest, drive twenty minutes back to correct route, arrive at destination.
I hope some of you guys that participate in the Power Tour will post some pics of some of the other cool rides and/or places of interest.
It looks like the event is at the drag strip in Indy and StL so besides just car show things the drag strip will be open.
Probably autocross In Champagne.

Today left Greenfield(east of Indy), and made our way to Auburn via two lanes and interstate. Found a covered wooden bridge that was knocked off its pillars and floated downstream about 1/2 mile in 1913, then subsequently dragged back upstream and remounted. Still frequently used, based upon the 4-5 cars that passed by in the ten minutes we were there. Ended up in Auburn, IN. Lots of murals on the downtown buildings. Good to see people who take pride in their small town. Ate the best damn cheeseburger I have ever had in my life at Mad Anthony’s Tap Room in Auburn. Don’t mind the crazy lady walking down the middle of the street, she’s fine.
