Has anyone here put a 215 65 15 tire on a Grand Prix before? With a 15x7 rim? Would this size be fine or would there be any rubbing in the front. Am I going to to need spacers?

Just look at your overall height and width. 26" high is about the max you want to go in front. This is, of course, with factory wheels; aftermarket, and all bets are off.

You can swap your 14" for the setup you stated (15 x 7 wheels plus 215/65R tires) Assuming you're putting on factory rims? NM. I just read fleming442 response and he's dead nuts balls accurate.

On the front of the 81 Malibu I run 215 65 15 on 15X7 rims. The 78 El Camino front rims are 15X8 With 215 65 15 tires.

I am running those on the front of my 78. They will rub if I crank them all the way to the right. My car is low up front. All sagged out. I have 15x7 and 3.75 BS. I solved the rubbing by not turning as sharp out of the driveway. I expect once I rebuild the front end there will be no problem
