231 V6 Even Fire - Pulley System

Guys,

I am new to the forum. I am working off a crate engine 231 V6 Even Fire (Block Casting 25514290 - Head Casting 25518445)

I was hoping to find an aftermarket pulley system for this since it just has the water pump. Any suggestions on locating something like this, or advice on how to dress the front of the engine with the Alternator and PowerSteering?

(This is actually sitting in a 67 Jeepster)

Welcome! Im not aware of any aftermarket pulleys for the 3.8. If you didnt know the accessories for a Buick 350 will bolt right on a 3.8. Since you have the engine in a Jeepster, you probably want the pre 80 3.8 brackets since not all have the smog pump on them.

Ok so look for a 79 3.8 bracket.. got it.
I am running a carb on it.. so the less I need the better..

If I recall evenfire started in 75 or 76 so anywhere in those 4 or 5 years should work. I happened to pull my last set off a 79 Regal.

i am still looking.. but also found this on ebay:

Wasn't sure if it would work.. it said it would fit an 82 231..

It says in the title those are for an LS engine so its very likely that they will not fit. Dont go by the search on Ebay, that is rarely correct, better to email the seller.

Pre-1980 Buick V6 parts are pretty tough to come-by Especially brackets! I've been looking for 3 months for A/C Brackets posted everywhere and cannot find anything.
I do have a Spare 1981 Non-Emissions Engine. What bracket/pulleys do you need?

Alternator and Power steering to get me started .. its a 67.. so I am shooting for no emissions I am interested if you have one.

You are in luck! I just pulled a P/S Unit off one of my V6s it's a '79 no with emissions & the Pump does work. Just needs new lines.
Easy enuff, otherwise i have *Just* A bracket w/o the pump for $20 Not sure on the Alt Bracket off my other engine... I'll look later today!

You are in luck! I just pulled a P/S Unit off one of my V6s it's a '79 no with emissions & the Pump does work. Just needs new lines.
Easy enuff, otherwise i have *Just* A bracket w/o the pump for $20 Not sure on the Alt Bracket off my other engine... I'll look later today!
