Does anyone have a clue as to how this hose is supposed to connect to the thermostat housing on my 85 Regal? I took it apart a couple months ago and can’t remember how the hose lines back up properly.

That is not the thermostat hose. On the back of the timing cover there should be a nipple for the bypass. That port shown is for a heater hose.

Thank you so much. I can’t believe I overlooked this. You’re a lifesaver.
