3.8 oil leak

here we go. 85 cutlass with a 3.8. i have fixed a ton of leaks (valve covers, intake, pressure sensor) now i still have a leak. over night about 3" stain will be on the ground in the morning. i think its only leaking while running and whats on the ground is just whats running off the engine while it was running. i have looked it over and it appears the fuel pump is leaking oil? where it mounts to the engine seems dry. is it possible to have oil leak from the bottom of the pump??

in that scenario would it smoke out the exhaust due to burning oil in the fuel??

No. Usually you end up with fuel in the oil.

are you sure it's not leaking at the gasket and running down the bottom of the fuel pump?

Yes it is possible for the fuel pump to leak oil. Mine was leaking oil and blowing down the side of the engine. Right out of the pump casing where the 2 halves met.
