On the intake manifold, there is a hose that goes from the temp sensor in front, to a hole in the rear of the intake. There is a barbed type fitting that the hose slides onto, but it looks like it's been broken. I'm not sure how it even attaches to the manifold, but there is just a hole there now.

What is that little piece called? Can i get a replacement from an auto store or am i gonna have to scrounge one up at the junkyard???

Well.. that is where your other heater hose is going to connect to. Looks like the fitting corroded and broke off in the iron intake manifold.

This thing scares me. You have an unbolted intake manifold and a CCC carb from first looks. Probably not something to sink any amount of money in to, as it will be a pit without any gain. It is a 110 HP engine.

It's the PCV valve grommet from what I can see They are a common enough thing that they should be available new. I may be wrong though, as I have not had the useless 3.8 V6 in my car for 10 years.

Not sure what's so scary about it. My cutlass had a v6 that needed replaced, I dont have the money to do a SB swap, so I picked up another 3.8 from the junkyard for 50 bucks and here i am. I don't care much about power or going fast, It's a lowrider 😉 I'm just trying to get it running.

The intake is from the original motor, i had to swap it over because the other one was broken.
