HEY ALL! was just wondering who all has bought a 3" cowl hood from Harwood? I have a 1986 Monte Carlo and I know I don't want a 2" (too small) but I'm also not sure if i want a 4"? and I have not seen a 3" on one of these cars? so if anyone who has one could put up a picture for me that'd be great! 😀 also any reviews on the 3" Harwood would be cool to! thank you in advanced!

I believe mine was listed as a 2 1/2" (purchased in the 90's).Disregard the minor modifications to the front section. Just to mention, someone on here posted a pic of the new finished underside harwood, looked pretty sweet.

The one issue I had & still have with my older model is wiper clearance, need to grind even more off rear flange.

FYI, ANY fiberglass hood will need some fitting around edges, a really good block sanding, & likely some filler in areas to be really straight. Also fiberglass cures to the hottest heat exposed to, so at least let the engine warm it up good a time or 2 before final sanding.

thanks for the picture and the tip about getting the hood hot! hadn't thought about that, but it makes sense! i'll make sure to keep it in mind!
