Get rid of that thermostat first. Some others have found the stant too restrictive. I am running the Stewart modified Robert Shaw high flow 160 thermostat. Basically has bypass holes drilled. I had a near new Mr Gasket high flow fail almost immediately, felt flow in the upper rad, but not full flow.
