From what i read my 307 to 350 olds into my 1984 olds cutlass should be pretty straight forward swap correct me if im wrong...i just have a few last things i wondering about will all the brackets to ac alternator and power stearing bolt up the same? Will the 70 350 rocket heads have the same bolt pattern for the brackets the Motor is still in shop being finished so no way for me to check until last second and i do have the original 350 brackets and one more question what will i need to do to connect motor to th200 trans and will the trans hold up very long????

th200c wont last long behind a v8. a th350 drops right in.
a 350 olds will bolt right in place of the 350, the fasteners on the 307 might be metric, everything on the 350 will be SAE.

A dual hump crossmember is not 100% neccessary for dual exhaust, below is all 2.5". The factory exhaust is horrible, you want at least 2.25" dual exhaust and headers help too. Everything single thing swaps over, although port size is different on 85 and later intake manifolds and the tubular exhaust manifolds they came with are restrictive junk. I would do a mild cam swap, stock is 196/200 .400/.402, pathetic. The timing chain, nylon coated cam gear falls into the oil pump pick up, not good, change it. Change all the lower gaskets, get rid of the rope rear main seal, 3 neoprene rear main seals fit it, AMC 6cyl, AMC 360 and Ford 292 which Felpro knows sells as an Olds replacement part. The 200C to TH350 is also an easy swap, basically add a vacuum modulator line. Good luck.

i am currently doing the same and so far, everything bolts right up with no issues. the only minor difference was my valve covers were 5 hole on my 307 and they are 10 hole on my 350. i just filled the rest with right stuff.
