Hey guys I know where a 350tbi is for $75 here's the thing it's out of a 91 truck but there's a piston seized up and a bolt broken off in the crankshaft is this something I should walk away from or buy??? Thanks for any info you all have.

Top end, external parts, and accessory drive would probably be the only things salvageable. The accessory drive would be nice, but may have problems with the power steering pump hitting the frame rail on a G-Body. The heads are god awful for anything but torque. The TBI intake and throttle body would be nice to keep around if you went that direction in the future.

I would say there are other motors out there in better shape, for the money.

That has to be one of the worst 350's ever made, tiny cam and awful heads. But aftermarket heads being cheap and the block being roller cam ready with a one piece seal, it has some value INTACT. Offer $20 or walk away.

Yeah, maybe you could have gotten it for $75, but once you’re in it for new parts, machine work, etc, etc, you’d probably be better off with a better-condition salvage or rebuild.

Yes I agree I'll just keep my eyes open for something that may not take so much to build it up. So for now back to the old drawing board.
