Ok now I'm really confused I thought they made a 355 ???
Nope, a 355 SBC is just a .030 over on a 350 SBC, it is probably just a .040 overbore on a 350 making it a 356.88 or 357.

I guess I need to find the #s on the block.
The block numbers won't tell you if it has been bored or stroked, only what it started out as.

Right .But they don't make a 355? I was told they do ? But you seem to be very knowledgeable on this stuff. So ty
Engines are typically always called what their final cubic inches are, you can buy a 355 or a stroker 383 already built but they both will typically use the same block, plus when you do aftermarket stuff you buy a bare block and then bore and stroke it to your needs.
