What are you expecting from this in terms of hp and tq improvements?

Can you get these heads to perform is my 1st question? I like the roller cam.

I repeat Scat and Molnar just came out with DIRECT FIT connecting rods for the Oldsmobile 350. They bolt to any Oldsmobile 260 through 403 crankshaft. The 10cc dish Mahle piston fits these rods and all stock 350's. They have the new 1 mm ring packs. With 64 to 72 stock heads, mid 9 to 1 compression. If your customer has #8 heads with a virgin block in good shape, common on the 73 to 76 motors, CP has a hone to fit 4.065" hone to fit forged piston brought to the market by BTR. The Mahle pistons start with a hone to fit 4.065" oversize, no boring on a good block. Oversizes all the way up to a 4.155" bore. Pretty much all Olds 350 blocks up to 76 can go .100" oversize. Mark Remmel, Cutlassefi brought both these products to the market. His contact info is [email protected].

It should be an easy 450/450. Cutlassefi flowed 7A heads with W31 valves, 2"/1.625" and a bowl hog cut. They were 210/170 for flow. Mine have 2.07/1.56 valves, so they might be 215/165 as is. No reason they won't flow 225/175 with some blending of the bowl hog cut into the port, tear dropping the guide bosses and removing the air bumps. Maxed out, any 64 to 76 Olds 350 head can match stock Edelbrock heads, about 270/190.

So what does this have to do with offset grinding to 330 crank to finish Chevy rod that’s what I wanna do that’s what I’m talking about not buying Oldsmobile parts I want to do what you’re doing the stroker350 motor

Taking that 330 crank on down to the 1.85” bearing and buy the cheap nascar rods on eBay. A 0.275” stroker in a 0.030” over 403 block wouldn’t be bad. Keep it below 9000rpm and that block would probably last! 😜. Where’s Turna when I’m making all of these performance suggestions?...........

I'm curious to see how the gas block holds up. Didn't know about the Scat rods. I'd love to try them, but the next build is just a stocker 350 for Funzalo reasons.

I saw a boosted gas 350 block pushing 900 hp on the old ROP. Obviously, that is a grenade with the pin already pulled, it could go off at any minute😁. Bill Travato claims 650 hp. It even has thinner main than the BBO but way less rotating weight. I just want something reliable, can hit reasonable rpm and not boil over every 10 miles. A 403 isn't it for me but I bought parts for one and have a 403 block.

Offset grind the crank for either the small journal sbc or Honda rod, a standard N crank can also be used, widen the rod journals the correct amount when the crank is ground. CP has a 1.3cc dish forged piston, 4.125" 1.550" compression height for a 374 ci Olds stroker with a sbc small journal 6" rod. I plan on using the icon 15.2cc dish piston in a 4.125" bore with a 1.561" compression height with a 6" Scat small journal rod for 9.5 to 1.
